Beat Binge Eating

Grace's Master Vision:

In my Master Vision, I have written: “Grace enjoys eating whole foods that are found in nature. She uses the 80/20 method: 80 percent of her diet is made of whole, unprocessed foods that make her feel her absolute best, leaving 20 percent for fun foods with friends and family at holidays and other events. Grace loves eating for lifelong health and found that food is medicine as she balanced her hormones through her diet, improved her energy, and focuses on how nourishing a meal is for her body, rather than how many calories it has. Grace eats when she is hungry and stops when she is elegantly satisfied. Grace is increasingly physically fit and healthy. Grace notices more and more that she is completely fulfilled from within. Grace eats a consistently healthy diet of whole foods and she maintains her body’s natural, healthy weight because of it. Grace is increasingly happy and healthy.”

1 year goal: Grace enjoys her meals and is increasingly confident in her body’s normal and healthy weight.
1 month goal: Grace enjoys 3 nourishing meals every day, she eats when she is hungry and stops when she is elegantly satisfied.

Maxi helped me overcome the most difficult challenge in my life which was my struggle with binge eating disorder which I battled with for nearly two years. Doing the Maxi Daily Plan every night was one of the things that helped me the most to stop binge eating because I realized that I didn’t want to keep typing out that I binged that day in the part that asks you “what didn’t go well today.” I wanted to be able to write that I nourished my body and enjoyed healthy meals that day in my response to “what DID go well today”. My actions started to change since my thoughts and beliefs were changing. I started to stop acting on binge urges because I didn’t want to write about it and that turned into a habit where I realized I had stopped binge eating completely. Writing my Master Vision really helped me to visualize the woman I wanted to be in the future, and I started to live like her in the present moment. I realized I didn’t want to be binge eating when I’m older, in my career, in a relationship, etc… so why am I continuing to do it right now?
